Trailer: "Fantastic Argoman" (1967).
imdb.

"Here is a picture that will take you on a journey out of time; carry you on a crest of thrills and laughter from start to finish"

Itself a spoof of the successful 'Superargo' movies of the time, Argoman is a silly, but seriously stylish Eurospy and comic book caper movie.

Roger Browne stars as mastercriminal 'Argoman' a.k.a. English aristocrat 'Sir Reginald Hoover'; with his futuristic tropical island bachelor pad, trusted manservant 'Chandra' and collection of priceless trophies, he's got it all.
However Argoman has a weakness, his gifts of telekinesis, hypnosis and super strength vanish for exactly six hours after any hanky-panky.
Dominique Boschero stars in opposition as super-minx Jenabelle, self-styled "Queen of the World"; sporting a different set of glamorous wigs and mod garments with every scene change.

With some rather flat direction and a plot that never lets logic get in the way of coherence, it's nowhere near as nifty as the similar Danger: Diabolik.
Nevertheless, with some truly eye-popping set designs, great looking robot (these things are important to me) and an outstanding score by Piero Umiliani this film is EXACTLY as entertaining as it appears.

Curiously yet to appear on Criterion's release schedule, we'll all have to make do with the inferior, but acceptable, transferred-from-video version currently available.
